Shipping and Handling

Most orders are shipped within 24 hours of receiving, many the same day.

The "You Pay What We Pay" Shipping Policy employed by Instant Canopy is simple.... the customer is presented with exact UPS rates to have the order shipped. No markups, no handling fees, just straight published UPS Rates. Instant Canopy  ships anywhere in world.  Some items may have special shipping rates.  Check the web site for reduced rates on selected items.  We are not  responsible for UPS to deliver as they guarantee, we can only  provide UPS with the merchandise by the time they request for their guaranteed delivery time.

We use UPS as a primary shipper and offer you 6 shipping options unless requested to ship by a different shipper:

  • UPS Ground: Prompt, dependable, low-cost ground delivery makes UPS Ground an excellent choice for all your routine shipments. UPS guarantees the day of delivery for every ground package you ship within the 48 contiguous states.

  • UPS 3 Day Residential: The ideal mix of economy and guaranteed on-time delivery, UPS 3 Day Select guarantees delivery within three business days to and from every address in the 48 contiguous states.

  • 2nd Day Air: UPS 2nd Day Air provides guaranteed on-time delivery to every address throughout the United States (excluding intra-Alaska shipments) and Puerto Rico. This service is an economical alternative for time-sensitive shipments that do not require overnight or morning service. UPS 2nd Day Air service provides substantial savings compared to the rates for overnight air service.

  • 2nd Day Air A.M.: UPS is the only carrier to offer you guaranteed delivery before noon on the second business day to commercial destinations. UPS 2nd Day Air A.M. service is available for delivery to metropolitan commercial addresses where UPS Next Day Air® delivery is committed by 10:30 A.M. This service is not available to destinations where UPS Next Day Air delivery is committed by noon or end of day.

  • Next Day Air: UPS Next Day Air features fast, reliable delivery to every address in all 50 states and Puerto Rico. UPS guarantees delivery by 10:30 A.M., noon, or end of day the next business day depending on destination (noon or 1:30 p.m. on Saturdays).

  • Next Day A.M.: When your shipments demand first-thing-in-the-morning delivery, choose UPS Next Day Air Early A.M. UPS guarantees delivery on weekdays by 8:00 A.M. to major cities in the 48 contiguous states and by 8:30 A.M. to many other U.S. cities, including those in Alaska.

Shipping your order with UPS Ground will take the longest to arrive, but is the lowest cost option. The fastest (and most expensive) is UPS Next Day A.M.. All shipping and handling fees are based upon weight and location, so the further away you are from our warehouse in Southern California and the heavier your package is, the more you will pay for shipping and handling. The rates we quote for shipping and handling are valid for most orders. However, for very large orders, the stated shipping and handling fees may be inadequate, in which case, we reserve the right to modify the shipping and handling fees. We will contact you before making those changes to your order.

And please remember…the clock on shipping does not start until we hand your package to UPS. So choosing UPS Next Day A.M. on a custom or out-of-stock item will not get your package to you the next day. In most cases, if you need your package to arrive yesterday, we will be able to get it to you tomorrow. That’s not bad. As a matter of fact, for you, that makes your life nice and E-Z.

Returns:   Our policy on returns is simple.  We want you to be happy with your purchase.  Here is how it works:

  • We delivered the wrong item: If we sent you the wrong merchandise, then we will make good on that order.  Simply call or e-mail:

  • Your order arrived damaged:  We make every reasonable effort to ensure that your merchandise arrived undamaged.  Occasionally, the contents get a bit tossed around and bruised up.  In the rare case that your merchandise is dented, torn, or otherwise impaired, simply call or

  • You just do not want to keep your order:  It’s hard to imagine that someone would not want to keep their E-Z UP® order, but who are we to judge!  If you have changed your mind, we will gladly accept your return and exchange your item for another E-Z UP® product or simply issue you a refund, subject to a 15% restocking fee.  Shipping to customer and back to us is to be paid by customer.  Since custom items are made-to-order, we cannot accept returns on these products.  Simply call or e-mail:
